NACCB Membership

PsiNapse is an active member of the National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses (NACCB) - Northern California Chapter, an organization that promotes fair business practices. This alliance provides a foundation of support for similar firms across the nation, giving us a working advantage in developing relationships and a forum for the exchange of ideas.

NACCB is proactive in developing industry standards of operation; educating clients, consultants, and internal staff on legislative issues of the day; and fostering the highest degree of ethical performance. Based on these efforts, PsiNapse is positioned to offer these same benefits to the client and consultant communities.

NACCB is an industry leader in lobbying for effective legislation affecting independent contractors, leased employee procedures, overtime compensation, and the proper use of foreign nationals. PsiNapse works to improve the industry by educating the client community on these issues. Clients benefit from our NACCB link because they receive the very best service, advice, and technical and managerial resources.

NACCB members DO NOT defame clients, consultants, or competitors.

NACCB members DO preserve all proprietary information relating to the business of their clients.

NACCB members DO actively avoid misrepresenting a consultant's skills or experience.

NACCB members DO NOT misrepresent a consultant's pay rate, contract terms, assignment duration, or other subjects pertinent to the business relationship.

NACCB members DO NOT have unreasonable non-competition clauses or unfairly prevent a consultant from pursuing other opportunities.

NACCB members DO refrain from soliciting employees of their own active clients.

NACCB members DO NOT induce consultants to breach or improperly interfere with a contractual relationship.

NACCB members DO have a clear policy for payment of consulting, marketing and recruiting personnel.

NACCB members DO comply with clients' established business practices including those policies relating to gifts and gratuities to client employees.

CSP Membership

PsiNapse is an active member of the California Staffing Professionals (CSP) , an organization which provides products and services to its members within the staffing services industry. Specifically their objectives are:

Education: To provide ongoing and current education and accreditation to meet the continuing needs of the CSP membership.

Ethics: To promote and maintain high standards of services and business integrity through the dissemination, application and enforcement of the CSP Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Responsibility.

Legislative Advocacy: To represent the Staffing Industry by exerting collective influence in matters of mutual concern and by advocating beneficial legislation.

Public Relations: To raise the visibility of CSP to employer clients and the public as a reliable source of information and thereby increase their understanding of the role of the staffing professional.

PsiNapse is committed to the objectives of the CSP, especially with regards to application of the CSP Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Responsibility.

NAWBO Membership

PsiNapse is an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) - SF Bay Area Chapter, an organization with a "customer first" philosophy, they:

1. Strengthen the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promote economic development.

2. Create innovative and effective changes in the business culture.
